Louis DeMeo has been planting churches since 1978. He and his wife, Janey, spent 22 years in France where they founded a church, a Christian School and a Theological Institute which trained French missionaries and pastors—many of whom then started churches in other parts of France or other countries. The DeMeos have traveled all over the world to mentor leaders in ministry—but their major thrust has been France, Italy and French-speaking Western Africa.

In 2004, the DeMeos moved from France to California where Louis continues to mentor men, church-plant and evangelize as well as traveling often to do overseas missions. He has formed several men's groups in San Diego area, and Orange County. He also planted and pastors a small house church in San Clemente.

Louis and Janey taught in their Theological Institute in France for 20 years, and then taught for two years at the Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta for 2 years. They received their M. Div and M.A. from Luther Rice University.

Louis also works with Christian Surfers.  In France, he started Christian Surfers and was the chaplain for the WCT pro-surfers tournament. Janey DeMeo is the founding director of Orphans First, a non-profit ministry to suffering children in the world: www.orphansfirst.org.  She is also a Bible teacher, women's speaker, author and freelance writer: www.Janey.DeMeo.com.  Janey has authored several books (in French and English), and her writing has appeared in numerous Christian magazines in both Europe and the USA including: Discipleship Journal, Focus-on-the-Family, Brio, Breakaway, Single Parent, Charisma, Sports Spectrum, Indeed, World Christian, Pulse, Youth Walk, Assist News, Plain Truth, Manna mag. etc. Janey also hosted a French radio show, and is best known as a communicator and child advocate.

The DeMeos also pioneered religious liberty issues in France, which connected them with several US congress people who have since remained friends.

Louis is Italian-American, and Janey is British. They have two grown children who were born in France. They all speak English, French & Italian.
